Local nanotechnology startup KfobiX receives $275,000 investment

A local nanotechnology initiative developing micro-nano composite coatings and advanced materials KfobiXannounced that it has received investment. According to the information provided by KfobiX, the initiative received a seed investment of 275 thousand dollars.

KfobiX’s seed investment of 275 thousand dollars came from Arz Portföy, Saves Energy and US-based Sente VC. KfobiX will spend the seed investment on the certification, field tests and research and development of new products required to launch its product in international markets. Accelerator program run in Canada EnergiaKfobiX, which is also a graduate of the 2023 program, will continue its activities in international markets.

Focusing on green energy, the startup is developing a composite nano-coating product for the problem of icing on power transmission lines. With the technology it has developed, KfobiX aims to contribute to energy efficiency by minimizing problems such as illegal electricity use and icing on wind turbines in winter.

KfobiX General Manager Mustafa Kemal İşen stated that they aim to play an active role in the field of energy efficiency by contributing to the elimination of existing problems in the fields of renewable energy generation and distribution.

Noting that the future of the energy sector will be shaped by innovation, entrepreneurship and venture capital investments, Mr. Murat Onuk, Board Member and General Manager of Arz Portföy , added that Arz Portföy will continue to support impact-oriented new generation Turkish startups, especially in the energy sector.
