Murat Onuk, born in Istanbul in 1974, completed his undergraduate studies at Istanbul University Faculty of Economics in 1999.

Between 1993 and 1999, he assumed different executive positions in the IT sector.

He worked at Microsoft Türkiye between 1999 and 2004 and at Microsoft Headquarters (Redmond, USA) from 2004 to 2009, initially in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and subsequently in senior positions with full responsibility for all countries worldwide.

Between 2009 and 2010, he served as Deputy General Manager at TTNET, and from 2010 to 2012, he worked as General Manager Advisor at Türk Telekom.

From 2013 to 2016, he participated as a board member and investor in various organizations. He joined Arz Portföy in 2016 and is currently a Managing Partner at Arz Portföy.

Murat Onuk, who has served as the Vice President of the Turkish Venture Capital Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) since May 13, 2020, was elected to the Board of Directors of the Turkish Capital Markets Association (TSPB) on September 4, 2020, and to the Board of Directors of Takasbank on March 29, 2021.
