İbrahim Eren was born in London in 1980. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Boğaziçi University and a master’s degree from the University of Westminster.
With over two decades of experience across media, broadcasting, and technology, Mr. Eren previously served as Director General and Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT). During his tenure, he led a comprehensive transformation process, implementing new broadcasting strategies and brand structures.
He has held various board and audit committee positions in media and telecommunications companies at both national and international levels.
In 2022, he founded Upily, focusing on early-stage ventures in education technologies and generative AI. He also serves as a member of the Investment Committee of the Türkiye Growth and Innovation Fund (TGIF). He also serves as a member of the Investment Committee of the Türkiye Growth and Innovation Fund (TGIF).
İbrahim Eren currently serves as Chairman of the Board at Arz Asset Management.
