According to the statement made by the Informatics Valley, Turkey’s technology and innovation base, the Informatics Valley aims to ensure the cultural transformation of individual investors with the 4th GDPF, which was launched in parallel with the transformation in technology. <\/p>\n
Bili\u015fim Vadisi will support 1,000 techno-startups with the 4th GDPF, which was established in cooperation with Arz Portf\u00f6y with a target of 1,000 investors and 500 million TL investment. <\/p>\n
The 4th GDP Fund, which offers investors the opportunity to invest within the framework of participation finance principles, is open-ended rather than committed, in other words, the fund can be entered every month. <\/p>\n
In addition to institutional investors, individual investors can also participate in the fund, which will focus on next-generation technology startups seeking seed investment in Turkey.<\/p>\n
The fund will invest primarily in the mobility, ICT, healthcare, energy, deep technology, finance, cybersecurity and agriculture sectors.<\/p>\n
Investments can also be made in next-generation technology startups outside the aforementioned sectors. Within the scope of the fund, it is planned to invest from 400 thousand TL to 2 million TL in startups. In order for investors to exit from the investment they have invested in the fund, the fund period must be completed. <\/p>\n
According to the information given, the fund offers investors the opportunity to invest in thousands of incubators at the same time. With the 4th GDPIF, which was established with a new generation investment approach, the culture of investment is also changing. It is now easier to invest in technology companies instead of buying houses and land. <\/p>\n
Within the scope of Law No. 4691, for companies operating in Technology Development Zones and institutions with R&D and Design Centers within the scope of Law No. 5746, in order to ensure that 20 percent of the earnings related to this center are not subject to tax, effective from January 1, 2022, If the amount of the discount utilized in the relevant year’s declaration is 1 million TL or more, 2 percent of this amount must be transferred to a temporary account in liabilities and transferred to entrepreneurial companies or venture capital investment funds by one of the methods specified in the law until the end of the year in which this account is created.<\/p>\n
Law No. 4691 on Technology Development Zones and Law No. 5746 on R&D and Design Centers, the deadline for GDP investment was announced as December 31, 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
